The Bosch ME17.8.10 is an ECU of the Bosch ME17 / MED17 (petrol) family, already handled by our workshop on CF Moto.
ME17 and MED17 form the Bosch petrol generation fitted from 2008, on Infineon TriCore processors (TC1796, TC1797 or TC1793 depending on the variant), before MG1 succeeded them in 2016. On this generation reading often goes through the OBD port, but some variants require the bench or Boot mode: the exact reference decides, and the announcements below state, tool by tool, by which route each one is open.
