The EGR valve recirculates exhaust gas into the intake and is one of the main causes of soot build-up in modern diesel engines. Our EGR off solution commands the valve closed, neutralises the flow and duty-cycle maps and removes the related fault codes.

The deactivation is done properly at map level (not by simply unplugging the valve), so the engine runs its normal combustion model without EGR interference, limp modes or warning lights.

Frequently asked questions

Can EGR off be combined with DPF off?

Yes. The DPF/OPF + EGR combo is one of our most requested options and is priced as a bundle in the token price list.

Should the valve be blanked mechanically as well?

Not required in most cases since the valve is commanded closed, but blanking plates can be fitted on heavily clogged engines. Clean the intake if soot build-up is already severe.

Is this legal for road use?

No. EGR deactivation is intended for competition, off-road and export use only, in line with local legislation.
