Bosch MG1 (petrol)
Bosch MG1CP007
The Bosch MG1CP007 is an ECU of the Bosch MG1 (petrol) family. The tools we resell have announced access by Bench, Boot Glitch, VFI and unlock; the announcements, dated and sourced, are below.
MG1 is Bosch's generation of direct-injection petrol ECUs, introduced in 2016 to succeed MED17. It is now found at most European manufacturers. On this generation, access is not always possible through the OBD port: depending on the model year and the make, reading goes through the bench, sometimes after an unlock. The announcements below state, tool by tool, what is open and by which route.
