EDC17 is the Bosch diesel generation fitted from 2008, between EDC16 and MD1: by far the most widespread on today's European fleet, from small vans to tractors. The suffixes — C, CP, CV followed by a number — are not trim levels: they designate a precise hardware configuration, processor, memory size and wiring included. The exact reference therefore decides everything, starting with the reading route.
