Not a new protocol but an improved OBD Unlock Patch for BMW DME8 ECUs (Bosch MG1CS024, MG1CS049 and MG1CS201, all TriCore TC298). It prevents the FSC-related DTCs (1B2904, 1F2102, sometimes 021204 / 21B210) raised when flashing modified files. Applying it requires a new Bench unlock, even on an ECU already unlocked with an earlier version.
