Bosch EDC16 (diesel)
Bosch EDC16C34
The Bosch EDC16C34 is an ECU of the Bosch EDC16 (diesel) family, already handled by our workshop on Citroën, Ford and Peugeot.
EDC16 is the Bosch diesel generation fitted from 2004 to 2012, between EDC15 and EDC17, on an Infineon TriCore TC1766 or TC1767 processor. It introduced torque-based control, kept by every Bosch diesel generation since: the pedal request becomes a torque request, and a calibration works on the torque tables as much as on injection and boost. The exact reference — C, CP, U followed by a number — decides the reading route; the announcements below state, tool by tool, what is open.
