Start/stop off
Start/stop systems shut the engine off at every red light, then re-enable themselves at every ignition cycle. Many customers want it gone: turbo engines dislike hot shutdowns, starters and reinforced batteries wear prematurely, and the restart lag is annoying in traffic.
Our file makes the deactivation permanent at ECU level. The dashboard button and diagnostics stay coherent: the system simply behaves as if it were switched off, every time.

Can the driver still use start/stop if wanted?
On most platforms we invert the memory logic: the system stays off by default but the button can still enable it for one cycle. Specify your preference when uploading.
Is this detectable at service or inspection?
The deactivation produces no fault code and no warning. It is a software behaviour change, invisible in normal diagnosis.
Does it affect emissions compliance?
Start/stop is a fuel-saving comfort feature, not an emission control device, but regulations vary by country; inform your customer according to local rules.
